Evangelist Norman DesireI am Evangelist Norman Paul Desire was born in Uganda and married to Mutesi Asenath Desire with three children Gad, Darlene and Grace. I now live and serve the Lord in Rwanda. It was during my studies that I received the Lord Jesus Christ in the early 80’s but later felt the call of God to the ministry and pursued my Biblical and Theological studies for three years. I was ordained as a minister by the Full Gospel Mission in Uganda and for one and half years pastored a local church in Uganda till I came to Rwanda in 1995 and began an evangelistic interdenominational ministry called Christ for the Nations Ministries. Ever since I have been organizing and ministering in conferences and evangelistic meetings in different parts both within and outside Rwanda. I have by the grace of God participated in organising training Evangelists here in Rwanda. I have also attended several leadership conferences and evangelistic Meetings . I love in particular to minister to young people in high schools, colleges and Universities and also have passion and compassion for orphans and vulnerable children. I am an alumni of Haggai Institute and a member of NGA (Next Generation Alliance). I am also a founding member of Forum for Born Again Churches and Para church Organisation in Rwanda. I attend the Omega Evangelical Church which is a member of the Evangelical Alliance. I assist the Church in the evangelistic ministry. I speak some Kiswahili which is widely spoken in Eastern African countries like Kenya and Tanzania but mostly I minister in English which is used as official language for communication in the Eastern region.
